Amalfi & Atrani 2-hour Private tour

Allow yourself to be enchanted by a 2-hour guided tour that takes you from the historic center of Amalfi to Atrani, immersing you in the vibrant colors, unique flavors, and millennia of history that define the Amalfi Coast. Once the capital of an ancient maritime republic, Amalfi’s historic center is rightly regarded as an open-air museum, preserving much of its architectural and urban heritage. You’ll encounter towers, walls, vaulted houses, ancient churches, chapels, and convents, all of which bear witness to Amalfi’s rich medieval mercantile past.

Start at Flavio Gioia Square, home to a marble statue of the inventor of the compass. Marvel at the Arsenale and explore the expansive historic center, featuring the stunning St. Andrew’s Cathedral (Duomo), an exquisite example of Arab-Sicilian architecture dedicated to Saint Andrew, the apostle and patron saint of Amalfi, whose relics are housed here.

Visit the Fountain of Sant’Andrea, adorned with 18th-century marble sculptures of Saint Andrew and marine deities. Stroll through the narrow medieval alleys lined with souvenir shops and limoncello vendors as you make your way to the picturesque Atrani. Pause for a panoramic view at the cemetery of the ancient monastery of San Lorenzo before arriving at Piazza Atrani to visit the Church of San Salvatore de’ Birecto.

Conclude your visit with a leisurely 5-minute walk back to downtown Amalfi.
